近來因為野田妹的關係我開始看日劇 "LAST FRIENDS"，很沉重的一套劇，和有我不喜歡的長澤正美 XD 不過為了峰和清良，我還是會看下去。

Olympics
Haven't written anything for a while, there are actually A LOT that I wanted to say, but just too tired or lazy to write about.
Let me start with the Olympics ...
Olympics is a supposed to be a pure sports event and now (for the past many years as well) had been a commercial event which people will use this opportunity to make big money. I am not against it, just that don't just focus on making big money is good enough. I heard that usually the host country themselves NEVER make money from the Olympics (except the Sydney Olympics), but other people doing olympic related products or merchandises, travel agents, airlines, hotels etc… these are making good money.
Anyway.. this year..it comes to politics. I hate to see this happening on my motherland. On 1 side I know China has huge problem about humanity issues, the other side I hate the other countries use this reason to elaborate and to make a big fuss about it then use this 'opportunity' to step on China. These are just politic tools. So here comes my question again, I thought we are doing a sports event, do we really need to have all these protests to target China? Can the Olympic fire just have a safe trip to it's destination and have this game running? This is just simply 趁火打劫. I ain't saying China is right, never, just that I don't think it should be tagged with the Olympics.
Now I hate watching news, everyday are different various protests about Tibet (well that's another story). I hate to see foreign media using fake pictures claimed to be real and make up stories. I hate people not really seeing the whole story, kept saying China use violence to attack the tibetians. We all can see people were messing around Tibet from TV, and cops just trying to stop this. And you know what, because Tibet is a sensitive topic, and because of Dala, and because of the 'reputation' of China, all the blame should go to the China government, no matter who started the fight. And western countries do LOVE to see this. China economy has been growing too fast and too well (again, not talking about the people who livein poverty in villages. In fact those foreign country politicans won't care less), so of course it's just a GREAT opportunity to harm the Chinese and to make it slow down. Who will want to miss this chance?

I bought a pair of Shure earphones 2 months ago, but I don't usually use it cos I just don’t have time to listen to mp3 much. When I travel to work, usually I'm reading tabloid news; or if I'm at work I just kept working and hardly put on music; and if I'm home I'll just turn on tv or get on internet, hardly really have a chance to put on a earphone and listen to songs.
In fact this pair of earphone is really good because it goes straight into your ears and just totally blocking ears with the outside noise. There was one time that I had my earphones on and that was like the first time I really put them on on MTR, I finally experience that I really couldn't hear a single word from the mouth of this woman who was just standing right next me. The feeling was very strange because I guess I kinda start knowing how does a deaf person feel. And the other thing is that I felt kinda insecure.
When I put those earphones up and couldn't hear the surrounding, I couldn't hear what ppl next to me are saying. In fact, I know the person speaks nothing about me, and I thought normally we just wouldn't care what other people are talking about especially you don't know these people. But at that very moment I did feel insecure. I don't understand why our sense of security will have links with 'hearing', and why I would want to hear other people's voice even though I won't listen to their content.
And right now, I'm in the office, I am having lots to do, work is getting crazy, and I just wanna get away from it. Sudddenly, I thought of this pair of earphones. So I put them on, feeling I'm just working by myself, I blocked myself from the outside world, don't want to hear anything about problems that colleagues are facing, I just want the clock to tick faster so it gets to 6pm asap and I can run away from it.
I just realised… this earphone can be a shelter… can be my temporary resting place. . very strange!!!
